You get in your car and drive to the store for a loaf of bread. Do you need to know how the internal couosmtibn engine of your car works? Of course not. It’s the same with programming.You just need to know what action you want to take (drive to the store) and what result you want ( get a loaf of bread). The programmer will understand the internal workings of how to make the program take your action and obtain your result.Explain in detail what you need the software to do. Like, I need to be able to input a date or range of dates. The program should give me all the sales receipts for that date or range of dates. From that list of sales receipts, I’d like to click on a receipt and get the specifics of what items were sold, what salesman sold it, and what customer discount was used for the transaction hope that helps

A great idea, maybe one day the task manager or an icon in the system tray will let a user know the energy consumption levels of the software he/she is running on their machine.
