The Bi-Annual International Rural Nursing and Health Conference will be held in Binghamton from Oct. 13-15, and organizers are seeking proposals from researchers who would like to present their research.
The multidisciplinary conference, held by the Rural Nurse Organization and the Decker School of Nursing, is titled The Canopy of Health Care for Rural and Underserved Populations: Strengthening the Root System. It will highlight research, projects, practice and conceptual or theoretical papers that focus on rural nursing or health as well as healthcare of rural and underserved populations.
Organizers will review abstracts as they schedule a series of podium presentations, symposia and poster presentations. The conference will include a graduate student research session. Papers accepted for presentation may be considered for inclusion in the series of Rural Monographs published by Binghamton University.
